Fire Inspector

Michael Baker has served in the fire service for over a decade. Before joining Bradley County Fire Rescue (BCFR), Michael Baker worked in the corporate sector but was encouraged by friends in the fire service to try volunteering. After experiencing the intensity and fulfillment of responding to his first fire, it became clear that this was his true calling.

In August 2012, Michael Baker officially joined BCFR as a full-time firefighter. Over the years, he has served at various stations and advanced through the ranks, ultimately achieving the positions of Lieutenant and Fire Inspector in 2024.

Michael has been married to his wife, Stephanie, for 15 years, and together they have a 7-year-old daughter named Avery.
